Savannah Beth Hanratty

Savannah Beth Hanratty passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 14. She was born on January 9, 2011, at Fort Riley, Kansas to her parents Christopher and Eunice Hanratty. Savannah will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends, and all who knew her.

Savannah had a passion for softball and volleyball, and she adored animals of all kinds. Music was a source of peace and comfort for her—a place where she often found solace. She grew into a loving, caring, and compassionate young woman, known for her empathy toward others. Savannah was also deeply loyal, endlessly creative, and had a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to those around her. She had a big heart and a deep love for her friends and family.

She is survived by her siblings: Emma Hanratty, Henry Hanratty, and Quinn Alfaro-Johnson; her parents, Christopher and Kayla Hanratty, and Eunice Hanratty. She is also survived by her grandparents: Michael Hanratty, Jose and Blanca Alfaro, Kevin and Kris Quandahl, Deborah Powell, Andrew Powell, and great-grandparents Carol Allyn and Bruce Allyn.

Savannah was loved by many aunts and uncles: Kole Quandahl, Alicia Quandahl, Alex Powell, Jennifer Allyn, Karen Alfaro, and Hannah Alfaro; and by her cousins: Arianna Allyn, Daymein Gatson, Amiyah Allyn, Ava Quandahl, Emmitt Quandahl, Payson Quandahl, and Isaac Quandahl.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Emmet and Elizabeth Hanratty; her uncle, Robert “Bob” Hanratty; and her great-aunts, Connie Heisenfelt and Kathy Hanratty.

A celebration of Savannah’s life will be held on May 30, 2025, at Kapala Glodek-Malone Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A funeral ceremony for family and close friends will be held at the same location on May 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Her burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Gethsemane Cemetery, where Savannah will be laid to rest next to her Uncle Bob and great-grandparents Emmet and Elizabeth Hanratty.
