Sharon Lee Whetston

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kirk Whetston; parents, Anne and Henry Domalik. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories.

She is survived by her sons, Craig (Cathy) and Rick Whetston; her granddaughters, Erica and Briana (Andrew) Whetston.

Family was Sharon's greatest joy. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, whether it was baking cookies or making her famous pumpkin bars, going on shopping adventures, or simply being together. Her happy place was the family cabin, where countless memories were made with those she loved most. She was known for her strength and resilience, but also for her kind heart and unwavering devotion to her family. Sharon also enjoyed a good glass of red wine, was a lifelong Elvis fan, and found joy in life's simple pleasures shared with family and friends.

Sharon's love, strength, and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Saint Raphael Catholic Church, 7301 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN. Visitation at 9 am, Mass at 10 am, and luncheon to follow. Entombment will be held at 1 pm at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 N 42nd Ave, New Hope, MN.
