Susan was born in Hutchinson, MN on October 7, 1950 to Maurice and Ruth (Lambke) Beach. She attended Litchfield High School where she met Kevin Johnson, whom she married on June 20, 1970 and raised two children.
She had a compassionate and giving nature, caring for those around her. She relished spending moments with her grandchildren. Susan had an adventurous spirit and loved travelling. Later in life she especially enjoyed cruising, with memorable trips to South America, Europe and traversing the Panama Canal. She appreciated the peaceful serenity of the ocean waves.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Kevin; their two children Angela Johnson and Matthew (Nicole) Johnson; grandsons Michael, Kevin and Benjamin; and sisters Patricia (Dennis) Yeoman and Mary Karjala.
A Remembrance Gathering for family and friends will be held at Kapala Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, New Hope. on Friday, March 28, 2025 from 1-4.
