Tom was born on January 24, 1957 in Minneapolis, the son of John Joseph Feehan and Helen Margaret Feehan. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1975 and from Dunwoody Institute in 1978. On March 31, 1979, he married Diane, and together they built a life grounded in faith and family.
In 1981, Tom started a business out of his basement, beginning with home design and later expanding into custom home building. His craftsmanship, dedication, and integrity molded homes and families across the community. He loved his work and remained active until his passing.
Faith, family, and service defined Tom’s life. For more than 40 years, he faithfully attended Demontreville Jesuit Retreat House, a tradition he began with his father. He was a proud and loving husband and father who cherished camping, fishing, road trips and traveling with family and he never hesitated to sacrifice his time to spend it with his children and grandchildren. He also found joy and fellowship in his Monday night golf league, looking forward to it for decades. A dedicated member of his community, he served on the Corcoran planning commission, guiding decisions regarding land development and future of the city. Tom walked in the footsteps of Jesus; his actions and treatment of others – incredibly kind and generous – made that undeniable.
Tom’s parting wish was simple and heartfelt: “Just get to know Jesus better."
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane; Children Sean (Kate), Aaron (Kelley), Chris (Sagarika), and Cory (Erica); Grandchildren Connor, Amelia, Landon, Zoey, Avery, and Vivien; Siblings Kathleen, Jim (Cherie), Kerry, and Dave (Rita); and many other cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Memorials preferred to ZERO Out Prostate Cancer or Prostate Cancer Research Institute.
