Timothy Lee Reger

On Sunday, September 25th, 2022, Timothy Lee Reger of Columbia Heights, MN, loving husband and father of two, passed away at the age of 58. Born September 29th, 1963 to Glenn and Marilyn, Tim grew up in Mound, Minnesota with his five siblings. He worked for many years as a courier, where he met his wife, Sue, to whom he was married on April 23rd, 1994. During their 28 years of marriage, they raised two twin sons, Tyler and Brandon.

Tim was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. He would often frequent their website to see if there was any new clothing he wanted to add to his wardrobe. His family would describe him as a simple man; he just liked what he liked. He was not much of a crowd person, so he was generally pretty content watching his favorite TV shows, and movies, such as professional wrestling, M*A*S*H, or *insert John Wayne movie here*. He also enjoyed sitting outside with his wife on the one day every year when the Minnesota weather was nice.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Glenn, and his mother, Marilyn. He is survived by his wife, Sue, his sons and their partners, Tyler (Liz) and Brandon (Logan), his siblings and their spouses, Robin (Phil), Alan (Teri), Scott (Chelle), Steven (Charity), and Kathryn, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 14th at Kapala Glodek Malone (7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN) from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Because we are coming together to celebrate Tim’s life, his family asks that attendees not wear all black and are also encouraged to wear Minnesota Twins apparel if they have it. His ashes will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date. In place of flowers, his family requests that a donation be made in his memory to A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation through their website (abreathofhope.org), designated to their research program.
