Bernadette H. Taylor

Bernadette Taylor, Age 51, of Queens, NY, passed away on Thursday September 19, 2013. She was the loving wife of David Jacobson and devoted mother of Ryan, 16, Amanda, 15, and Brendan, 12. She was born on Christmas Day in 1961 to Leolla Mckee and belated father Rudolph Taylor. Bernadette grew up in Coney Island, NY and earned her undergraduate degree at SUNY Binghamton and her law degree at Thurgood Marshall Law School. Bernadette most recently served as an Administrative Law Judge and has also served as Vice President on the Community Education Council. Her commitment to Education carried over to her children. While being a loving mother, she always gave them the best educational opportunities to propel them on a path towards success.

Her viewing and funeral will be held at R. Stutzmann and Son located at 2000 Hillside Ave. New Hyde Park, NY 11040. The viewing will be on Sunday September 22, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm the funeral will held on Monday September 23, 2013 at 9:45 am.
