I was shocked to read of Erik's passing on the Local 52's web site.  I'd always enjoyed working with Erik, he was a nice guy and an excellent mechanic.  He will be sorely missed by all who knew with him.

I remember Erik so fondly and with many good feelings.  May his memory always be a blessing in all our lives.

Erik was like a brother to me, and like all brothers we had easy and hard times but no matter what I always loved him. He was maybe the most genuine person I ever met, he had a smile that could light up a room and you inside if you were fortunate enough to be there. He was an amazing father, loving son, and a special sibling. Every person who was lucky enough to know Erik is better for it, because he truly had an impact on every person touched.  My heart bleeds for his family, but we all have a true angel looking over us now. I will forever Love and Miss him.
