I know that these past few months have been a very difficult time of sorrow. 
My sincerest condolences are offered to you both (Joyce & Janet).

The passing of my aunt, Jean Mastropolo,made me think back to the many good things I remember about her.For example, when my father worked out of town and my mother had to move to a new home by herself with three small children Aunt Jean was there to help in every way she could.  She even washed windows ! I remember, too, the many parties hosted by Aunt Jean and Uncle Mike as a way to keep our family close.  Aunt Jean was such a generous and gracious hostess.  Today I see all of Aunt Jean's kind ways reflected in the actions of her daughters, Joyce and Janet and in the caring nature so evident in the lives of Jean's grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Katelyn.  Jean must be so proud of them all.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this time Jan. She is sitting with our heavenly father where she is now happy.

Dear Janet and Joyce.....I am so sorry to hear of your dear Mom's passing...she is now with your Dad and together they are at peace. Know that my love and prayers are with you and all your family.  I will never forget the Thanksgiving I spent at your Mom and Dad's home after Ricky's wedding when all my family went to Florida. I am Joyce and Janet's childhood friend and first met Jean when we were all students together at Notre Dame and started our day by walking to the bus stop with each other, as well as with my younger sister Laura. I remember Jean as being ahead of her time- a working woman was unheard of in those days! She was an inspiration to all. One of our favorite games was our make-believe company (Bailey Securities)that we ran with advice from Jean and Mike! Jean would do anything for her children and I know will be greatly missed.
