Dear Barry Family,

I hereby want to express my deepest sympathies for the huge loss you're suffering.

Rich was not only a great co-worker, but also a friend you could hold talks with for hours.

He always knew what to say to cheer up one's mood when you had a bad day, he certainly made my day more than once.

It was always pretty hard to avoid his special kind of humor, as I just had to laugh lustily about every funny tale he knew to tell.

Now, it's just not the same anymore to have a call into the US, knowing Rich will not pick up the phone anymore.

It makes me proud to have been able to finally meet this special, unique person in live last year.

I wish you so much strength to go on. Switzerland will miss Rich.

My deepest condolences.

My very deepest sympathies to all of Rich's family and friends. I know he loved each of you. Over this past week when I have thought of his passing, of his life, I cannot help but think of music. Rich loved music! It was a huge part of his life. "Find The River by R.E.M. and "Green Gloves" by The National (amongst countless others) have been in heavy rotation here as I say good bye in my way. I know a day will not pass that I will not hear a song that will remind me of him..and smile. He went too soon. He will be missed, always.

Hello my deepest condolensces for your loss. I knew Rich from old BBH days. I also used to live near him about 10 years ago in Garden City Park. I will miss him dearly on the yearly Monmouth Park visits. God Bless you and your family.

Since I'm paying for a copy of the guest book, I might as well add a chimp picture. Rich liked his chimps!

Rich loved his family more than anything. He made all of us co-workers feel like part of the Barry family. We miss him terribly out by the red square.
