OBITUARY

Andrew "Andy" Couch LaBauve

NEW IBERIA- Memorial services will be conducted for Andrew, "Andy" Couch LaBauve, age 78, at 10:00 am on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia. Deacon Wynard Boutte will officiate. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 am until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. LaBauve passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Heritage Manor North in New Iberia.

Born on February 23, 1941 to the late Compton and Elizabeth Couch LaBauve, Andy was one of five children. He worked for the Iberia Parish Sherriff’s department for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Anna LaBauve Davis; son-in-law, John Davis; twin brother, Compton “Cookie” LaBauve, Jr.; sister, Marilyn LaBauve; and former wife and friend, Cecilia Zapata LaBauve.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joy Rita LaBauve Segura; and brother, Bill Fullerton.
