Angela shared 45 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Larry Landry. Together, they built a home where family came first, where love was practical, present, and enduring. She was deeply proud of her children, and she delighted in the life they created: Keisha Landry LeBlanc (Mike), Chase Landry, and Katlyn Landry Pilette (Gavin). Her joy only grew with her grandson, Connor LeBlanc, who knew her simply and sweetly as “Grammy.”
A good cook with a gift for comforting favorites, Angela’s care could be tasted in the meals she made, especially her mac & cheese and coconut cake, remembered not just for their flavor, but for the love behind them. She enjoyed watching horse races at Evangeline Downs, looked forward to casino trips, and treasured time at the ball field, cheering on Chase in baseball and Katlyn in softball with the steady encouragement that defined her life. She was also an integral part of her children’s years showing pigs in 4-H.
Angela was a dedicated worker, employed as a bookkeeper for Chastant & Breaux Grocery, her husband’s family’s business, Martin Mills, and anywhere she was needed. Yet she never measured her life by a job description; she measured it by the people she cared for and the home she helped hold together.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Landry; her children, Keisha Landry LeBlanc (Mike), Chase Landry, and Katlyn Landry Pilette (Gavin); her grandson, Connor LeBlanc; her siblings, Glynn Pellerin (Suzanne), Debbie Thibodeaux (Kenneth), Sandra Breaux (Sonny), James Pellerin (Robbie), and Keith Pellerin; her beloved Bully, Nyla and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Joseph Pellerin; her mother, Georgie Nell Longon Pellerin; her brother, Kyle J. Pellerin; and her infant sister, Mona Pellerin.
