Arelise Harrington Melton

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Arelise Harrington Melton, age 93, at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Nativity of our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Arnaud officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until service time on Thursday with a Rosary at 11:00 am.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Melton passed away at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Iberia Manor South.

Mrs. Melton enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her son John Melton, Jr. and his wife Madeline of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Melton, Sr., parents; Dedier and Loria Harrington and brother Ned Harrington.

Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
