

A native of Alex, Oklahoma and resident of New Iberia, Mr. McClure passed away at 3:55 pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at his residence.
Mr. McClure was a WWII Army veteran having served time in the Philippines. He worked for many years with Halliburton, eventually retiring from the company. He enjoyed gardening as a favorite pastime. Mr. McClure was also a long time member Trinity Baptist Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of Acadiana for all of their care.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Naomi McClure; son, Tommie McClure of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughters, Donna McClure of Youngsville, Anita Babineaux and husband Richard of New Iberia; grandchildren, Tammie McClure, Alicia Dolesy, Tommie McClure, Jr., Brett Dubois, Kim Poirrier, Jennifer Chataignier, Jeremy Babineaux; eight great –grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Gracie McClure; sisters, Alta McClure, Ruth Culp; brothers, E.L. McClure, L.C. McClure and daughter-in –law, Jane Bourque McClure.
