Catherine "Cat" Voorhies Moore

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday December 28 with a Rosary at 6:30 pm.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Moore passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2014 at her residence.

Cat, as she was known to her family and friends was kind and honest and loved keeping people happy. She gave respect and expected it in return. She loved her music, but more than anything, she loved her 4 legged baby, Scooter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Steven “Stevie” Moore; son, Christopher Aucoin of New Iberia; mother, Betty “Mopsie” Voorhies; and brother, Robert Voorhies, Jr. and wife Rose of San Antonio, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Voorhies, Sr.; brother, Rene’ Voorhies; and sister, Barbara Ables.
