A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am. Immediately following the visitation, Chris will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born on January 26, 1974 to Joseph Albert LeBlanc and the late Grace Landry LeBlanc, Chris was one of five children. He was a kind and loving man who enjoyed the simple life of country living. Chris was an avid outdoorsman who could always be found fishing in Delcambre with his son, riding 4-wheelers in the country, or taking his Yamaha out for a spin. Chris worked for Sugarland Exterminating for 15 years and was well liked and respected by his customers. He was easygoing and made friends wherever he went. Chris will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and love him.
He is survived by his son, Christopher “C.J.” John LeBlanc; granddaughters, Gracelyn LeBlanc, Avery Katherine LeBlanc, Kristlyn LeBlanc, and Summer LeBlanc; father, Joseph Albert LeBlanc; brother, Anthony “Tony” LeBlanc; and sisters, Brenda L. Migues (Gilbert), Donna LeBlanc, and Angie LeBlanc.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Grace Landry LeBlanc; and infant brother, Albert LeBlanc
Pallbearers will be Christopher “C.J.” LeBlanc, Ryan LeBlanc, Skyler Meyers, Reece Touchet, Leonard Migues, and Anthony “Tony” LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearer will be his father, Joseph Albert LeBlanc
