I remember growing up across the street from Mr, Beb and Ms. Hilda on the island. They were an extra set of parents to us who lived on that street. Sending love and prayers to the family, Jenny

Mr. Beb was always so sweet to me. I enjoyed listening to his stories about growing up on Avery Island. His garden in the Tango was so interesting - especially his cotton plants! He was such a dear. Please know my thoughts are with his family at this time.

I forgot how many years ago it was he came visit and shared the story of getting his small Bible back that was lost doing the war. It was an amazing story of how someone went to the trouble to track him down after so many years. He was so great full.

It was a pleasure getting to know Mr. Beb while he lived on Avery Island. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. It was amazing to hear his stories of the past. He should have written a book!
