Dalton was born August 30, 1926 to the late Lee and Wilamena Hernandez and passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Consolata Nursing Home.
Dalton was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served his country during WWII. He worked for many years at St. John Sugar Mill as a guard.
Survivors include his daughter, Lilla Hernandez Bacque and husband Lee of New Iberia; his former wife, Edmonia Latiolais; and his sister, Daisy Hernandez.
Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
