Dolly Rodrigue Marcell

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Dolly Rodrigue Marcell, age 60, at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Neel officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am on Saturday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Dolly passed away at 1:15 pm on, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her residence.

Dolly was employed by the US Postal Service as a Clerk in the New Iberia office for several years and a member of First Assembly of God Church. Dolly had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and joke and enjoyed making people laugh.

She is survived by her mother, Mildred Courrege Rodrigue of New Iberia; one brother, Kenneth Rodrigue of New Iberia; two sisters, Bonnie Holman of Sugarland, TX and Annette Corkern and husband Keith of Pride, LA and her nieces and nephews, Maria Rodrigue Martinez; Brent Holman; Stuart Holman; Ariane Rodrigue; Jeff Corkern and Clay Corkern.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Phillip Rodrigue; one sister, Catherine Rodrigue; sister in law, Carolyn Rodrigue and her nephew, Blake Corkern..
