Eva LaGrange Wilson

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Eva Lagrange Wilson, age 61, at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Fr. Gary Schexnayder will be the celebrant for the service. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Eva passed away at 9:33 pm on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Belle Teche Nursing Home.

Eva was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the Carmelites. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting and bingo, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Romero and her husband Ricardo and Jennifer Marks and her husband Ronald all of New Iberia and six grandchildren, Danielle Romero, Brittany Romero, Virginia Marks, Ronald Marks, Jr., Charlene Marks and Zachary Marks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oswald Paul and Louise Price Lagrange.

Pallbearers will be Ricardo Romero, Ronald Marks, Sr., Ronald Marks, Jr., Tony Boutte, Ricky Gachassin and Eve Marks, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Marks.
