Frances was born on November 17, 1934 to the late Walter Earl Wagner and Katie Ophelia Cox Wagner. She was one of five children. At the tender age of 6 years old, Frances chose to be baptized as a Christian (Jehovah’s Witness), and never looked back for her remaining 81 years.
On January, 2, 1953 Frances married the love of her life, Louis Hebert, and they stood by each other’s side for the last 69 years.
With very few exceptions (mostly due to declining health in her last year) she participated monthly, in her Christian Ministry assignment as described by Jesus at Matthew 28:19&20. Another one of her cherished activities was gatherings with her Family for meals, and especially for “get-togethers” on her & Louis’ Anniversary’s.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Louis Hebert; one son, Jeff Hebert and wife Rachel of Youngsville; three daughters, Dianna H. Pike and husband Walter of Porter, TX; Debbie H. Leibert of Lafayette and Lynn LaCoste Blanchard and husband Richard of Bourg, LA; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Sylvia Wagner Gabler of New Iberia and one brother, Elden Wagner of New Braunfels, TX.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Marilyn Jean Wagner Songy; one brother, Walter Wagner, Jr.; three sister in laws, Elsie Wagner, Shirley Wagner and Betty Wagner and one brother in law, Wesley Songy.
