

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Hilton Louis Broussard, age 91, at 11:00 am Friday, April 9, 2010 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Deacon George Sikes officiating. Interment will be held at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Patoutville.
Visitation will be held from 8:00 am Friday until service time with a Rosary at 9:30 am.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Broussard passed away at 10:30 am on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Iberia Extended Care.
Mr. Broussard was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army who served his country honorably and faithfully. He was employed at Morton Salt Co. for 33 years. Mr. Broussard was a member of the American Legion Post #365 for 60 years and also a member of the VFW Post #1982 of New Iberia. He will be missed dearly by his family.
He is survived by his son, Norbert Broussard and wife Maryland of New Iberia; daughter, Rosalind B. Falterman and husband Charles of New Iberia; four grandchildren, Mindy Boudreaux; Brandy Newnam; Heath Falterman and Cami Camors; four great grandchildren, Colin Boudreaux, Jacob Boudreaux, Addison Camors and Jack Camors; one sister, Bernadette Morris of Lydia and two brothers, Albert Broussard of New Iberia and Rivest Broussard, Jr. of Anniston, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rivest and Marie Zolie Dartez Broussard; his first wife and mother of his children, Bernadette Hebert Broussard; second wife, Amy Verret Broussard; one brother, Milton Broussard and three sisters, Florence Leleux, Evelyn Jolet and Marie White.
Pallbearers will be Heath Falterman, Victor Camors, Scott Boudreaux, Mindy Boudreaux, Brandy Nemnam and Cami Camors.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Leleux, Darrel Bodin and Joseph Hebert.
