John Perrez Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. John Perrez Jr., age 86, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 10:30 am at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Jeanerette, Louisiana, with Fr. Jody Simoneaux as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled to be held on Friday, May 6, 2016, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Evangeline Funeral Home, 314 E. St. Peter, New Iberia, Louisiana.

Mr. Perrez was born on February 18, 1930 in Jeanerette, Louisiana, and passed away in Conroe, Texas on May, 2, 2016.

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita Fay Perrez, John is survived by daughters; Helen Laverne Sczepanski and husband Kevin of Dayton, Texas, and Mary Catherine Shaw and husband Jim of Conroe, Texas, grandchildren; Jason and Jessica Cassard of Dayton, Texas, Brandy and Steve Maraviglia of Montgomery, Texas, Keith and Brandy Texter of Magnolia, Texas, and Derek and April Cassard of Magnolia, Texas, great-grandchildren; Amber Kate Maraviglia, Bryce James Cassard, Dylan Rex Cassard, Hailey Madison Cassard, Cody Texter, Trent Maraviglia, and James Dean Cassard, sisters; Bertha Louviere and Marie Lee. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
