Jude Thaddeus Richard

Jude was born July 26, 1948 in New Iberia to Aristilde and Hazel Landry Richard. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Jude was retired from Bellsouth having worked with the company since his discharge from the Navy. He was an avid reader, a collector of guns (he also enjoyed restoring them) and had a passion for cooking. Jude will be forever remembered and dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Robert “Bobbi” Richard of St. Martinville; step-children, Angel Melancon of New Iberia and Brandy Prince of St. Martinville; his sisters and brother, Melanie Richard Lalande and Serena Richard Musso both of New Iberia, Michael Paul Richard and wife Judi of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristilde Joseph Richard and Hazel Francis Landry Richard; and a step-granddaughter, Hailey Elizabeth Melancon.
