Keighlie Renee Reaux passed away on September 12th, 2021 at the age of 24 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Lafayette, LA. Keighlie was born on December 13th, 1996 in New Iberia, LA. to Billy Joseph Reaux and Amie Savoy Reaux. Keighlie was a 2015 graduate of New Iberia Senior High.

To know Keighlie was to love her. She would do anything for anyone, put everyone before herself, would give the shirt off her back, never met a stranger and loved with all of her heart. She loved being a mother, and she did it so well. Keighlie found a passion in small town boutiques. She loved helping everyone find that perfect outfit for their special occasions. Her dream was to one day own a boutique of her own. Her beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile will be missed tremendously by all who loved her.

Keighlie is survived by her two sons, Karter Paul Bergeron & Krew Paul Bergeron; her parents Billy Joseph Reaux & Amie Savoy Reaux; one brother, Kollin Joseph Reaux; two sisters, Kayla Elizabeth & Kali Nicole Reaux; boyfriend, Zackary Paul Bergeron; paternal grand-parents, Morrill & Cheryl Reaux; maternal grand-parents, Keith (Karin) Savoy & Marsha (Daniel) Ronsonet; paternal aunts, Rachel (Scott) Romero, Masey (Joey) Bergeron, Brandy (Justin) Mertz, Debbie (Brock) Richard; maternal uncles, James Savoy, Jade & Blaine Ronsonet; maternal aunt, Alysha (Reagan) Champagne; god-parents, Jade (Peggy) Reaux, Tyra (Jason) Short; godchild, Brinleigh Claire Bonin; cousins, Caitlyn Buteaux Mauney, Bryce Reaux, Alyssa Bergeron, Gavin Richard, Brayton Mertz, Kelsey Bergeron, Brie Mertz, Cassie Richard, Braylon Bergeron, and Escher Champagne.

Keighlie had a special place in her heart for friends who were more like sisters; Taylor David, Deja Ruiz Sohm, Alyssia Boutte, Lexi Howard, Kayla Khammany, Mckenna Cobb & Macie Berry. If the walls could talk, oh the stories they would tell. The memories they all shared will last a lifetime.

Oh Sweet keighlie, you were so young and had so much life ahead. I wish this day didn't come so soon and you were able to be a mother to your two beautiful boys. I know I wasn't family and we wasn't close but I was best friends with your cousin Morgan and I remember the days when we used to go and watch you and your siblings. You were always the chatty one but always so sweet. You were around my middle child's age when I would help baby sit you. It was very heart breaking to hear that you passed away so soon and so young. It's not fair that this was the outcome and I hope your family can find peace. You will surely be missed sweet girl. RIP

I will never forget the day we met. I will never forget all of our sleep overs at her house & all the people she brought into my life. Some of the best memories were with her & our friends. There are so many, it would take hours to share. She was more than a best friend, she was a sister. I will miss her smile, her laugh, her fashion advice & most of all, I will miss picking on her (: The Reaux’s will always be family to me. Keighlie was one of a kind & there will never be another like her. We will always keep her memory alive especially for her precious boys.

I love you with all my heart Keighlie, my bestie/sis you will always be. You will be missed so much.
& to family, I love y’all so much. I’ll always be here no matter the distance. You guys will always be family to me.

You were the sweetest person I have ever met in my life. Your smile would light up any situation or any room. I don't know why I am so surprised because I know you get your smile, personality, everything about you from your parents. I was praying so hard for you my sweet girl. You were and still are so loved & had a army behind you. I know we are not suppose to question God but, with you I do. I know your name will live on forever.
Watch over your babies, your family, & Zack.
Amie & Billy I am so sorry you are having to go through this. You guys are amazing people who raised a amazing daughter. I will continue to pray for you guys. Love you both
