Kenneth Ray Hulse

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Kenneth Ray Hulse, age 60, at 10:00 am Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Downs officiating. Interment will be held at Williams Cemetery in Tyler, TX on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 am.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until service time.

A native of Tyler, TX and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Hulse passed away at 5:50 am on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Ocshner Medical Center.

Mr. Hulse was a truck driver for many years and most currently employed with Kajun Independent Thread Reps for the past seven years.

He enjoyed working on old cars and loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Linda Groves Hulse of New Iberia; one son, Jason Thomas Hulse of New Iberia; four step children, Jeffrey Groves and wife Sandie of Reeves, LA; Shannon Brack and husband Rodney of Pitkin, LA; Jennifer Norris and husband A.J. of DeQuincy and Michael Dunn and wife Becky of Pitkin; fourteen grandchildren and one sister, Sandra H. Page and husband Michael of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his son, John Christian Hulse; parents, Maxie T. and Mildred Swope Hulse and one brother, Tommy Lee Hulse.

Pallbearers will be Michael Dunn, A.J. Norris, Chris Guidry, Justin Olivier, Zachary Chance and Daniel Copsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Brack, Joseph Groves and Paul Richard.
