NEW IBERIA - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kingston Joseph Domingue, an 11-month-old bundle of joy from New Iberia, Louisiana. Kingston departed this world on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, Kingston brought immense joy to his parents, Kathryn Domingue and Tometrius Antoine. His infectious laughter and boundless happiness defined his short but impactful time on earth.
Kingston is survived by his loving mother, Kathryn Domingue, and devoted father, Tometrius Antoine. He leaves behind cherished memories for his siblings, brother Timothy Antoine and sister Makayla Antoine. Kingston's spirit will live on through his uncle Tony Domingue, Jr., aunts Monica Domingue and Towana Antoine, uncles Justin Domingue, Brandon Domingue, Scott Meyers, Patrick Antoine, Jr, and Trinton Thibodeaux, as well as his step-aunt Belinda James. He will be dearly missed by his grandparent Christina Domingue, grandparent Tony Domingue, Sr., grandparent Priscilla Richard, grandparent Patrick Antoine Sr and grandparent Sadie Guilliam.
In the midst of grief, the family finds solace in the reunion of Kingston with his uncle Cody Domingue, who preceded him in death.
A visitation to celebrate Kingston's life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 1:45 PM at Evangeline Funeral Home, 314 East St. Peter Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 PM at Nativity Of Our Lady Catholic Church, 130 N Richelieu Cir, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560.
Kingston will find his final resting place in Rosehill Cemetery, 944 W Main St, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560.
The family is grateful for the support of friends and loved ones during this difficult time. Serving as pallbearers are members and friends of the family.
In honoring Kingston's memory, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the impact he made in his short time on earth. May he rest in eternal peace.
