Born on July 7, 1947 to the Richard Ward and the late Annie Sue Ward, Linda was one of five children. She was kind woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. Linda attended Loyola University and worked as a Title Service Rep. with Bell South for many years before retiring. She was an excellent cook and greatly enjoyed making home cooked meals for friends and family. Linda was a world traveler, having visited much of the United States and other countries, and liked to experiences new places; especially if it gave her an opportunity to go shopping for new things in different places. She will be forever remembered and will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 16 years, James “Jimmy” Luent; step-son, Tommy Luent and wife Tiiffany; father, Richard Ward; brother, Richard “ Ricky” Ward, Jr.; sisters, Cindy Duarte (Chris) and Sue Hauer (Dan); step-grandchildren, Xena Dugas; and step-great grandchildren, Rylie Wicks and “R.J.” Wicks.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Annie Sue Ward; and brother, Johnny Ward.
