Almost 7 years later I still miss the crud out of you. I know your up there laughing at me every time i tear up from missing you. Some days I'm kinda mad at you for leaving when you did. In 7 years.... all of your grandsons but 1 got married and we all know Noah won't take to much longer to put a ring on it. 3 more great grandkids were born as well, 1 boy and 2 girls. You missed seeing me and trevis get married, but I know you were there. You missed meeting kodiak but i know you would have adored that kid, the perfect blend of me and trevis and he is such a cool kid. I was right when I said back then there wouldn't be a day I didn't miss you. Every day i think of you in one way or another. Still wish you were here to see it all in person but I know your watching. Can't wait to see you again so you can yell at me and call me names and I can do it right back to you. Thank you for teaching me the lessons you did, and showing me the love only you were capable of giving to someone not of your own blood. Miss you to pieces. Maybe I'll come back in another 7 years and update you again. Like you won't already know it all ya nosy. Love you still, always will.

My deepest sympathies to Lois' family.  I am a long distance cousin and grew up with Lois and her brother Clince.  Lois was a good person and worked hard.  I last saw her when I rented a trailer from the place where she worked on Center St, New Iberia.

My world is a little less bright without you in it. You always knew when i needed stern or comfort. You showed me so many things and taught me so much. We may have been oil and water but i love you more then you may have ever known. Past everything said and done I will not have a day go by where I don't miss you like crazy. I know you are in a better place but i will miss your face and your laugh most of all. You were the best type of person. I love you so much. I know this is not a final goodbye. More like a see you later. And i will look forward to the day I get to see you again.

My condolences to Lois's family. May she have eternal peace My prays are
with all of you. We were in grade school together and then went on to
high school. We graduated together in 1961.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am sorry for y'all loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this hard time. I pray for God to give peace to y'all.
