Lyla Audrey Picard

A native of Lafayette and resident of Loreauville, Lyla passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2013at 10:33pm.

Lyla had beautiful blue eyes and curly blonde hair that added to her full of life personality. She was a “Daddy’s girl” but had just enough attitude to be able to keep up and play with her brothers. She was always a happy baby who loved to dance and her favorite song was “Wagon Wheel”. She will be missed dearly and always hold a special place in her family’s heart.

She is survived by her parents, Curtis and Felicia Walet Picard of Loreauville; brother, Benjamin Picard and twin brother, Landon Picard; paternal grandparents, Ronald Picard of Loreauville and Jennifer Aucoin of Charenton; maternal grandparents, Michael Walet of New Orleans, Michelle Walet of Clearwater, Florida, and Sherry and Bubbie Prince of Lydia; and maternal great grandparents, Leona and Jonathan Logan of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Nicholas Walet.
