Mallory “Mal” Lynn Comeaux, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at the age of 39, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will never fade. Mallory lived life as a true free spirit — loud, funny, loving, and unapologetically herself.
A 2004 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, Mallory had a personality that could light up any room. She was known for her straightforward honesty, her infectious laugh, and the way she always kept things real. If you knew Mallory, you knew there was never a dull moment around her.
More than anything, Mallory loved her two beautiful daughters, Mila and Brie, who were the center of her world. She treasured every moment spent with family and friends, whether it was dancing, laughing, or simply making memories together. Mallory also had a special love for children and was known as the “cool aunt” to those who adored her.
Mallory leaves behind to cherish her memories her two daughters Mila and Brie, her mother Molly Comeaux and her sweetheart Kenny Vaughn, brother Sky Comeaux, 3 lifelong best friends Aj Viator Menard, Desire’ DeRise and Leah Gachassin, Ryan Menard (Godchild) and Aubrey (Aj) Ourso (Companion) along with other countless family members and friends whose lives were forever touched by her love, humor, and unforgettable spirit. Though her loss leaves an unimaginable void, her memory will continue to live on in every laugh, every dance, and every story shared by those who loved her most.
She will proceed in death by her Father Joey Comeaux, maternal grandparents Wayne and Beatrice Moreland, paternal grandparents Junice and Merline Comeaux, Colten Luquette (Godchild) and high school best friend Johnathon Key DeRouen.
Funeral services will be conducted at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church In Delcambre on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Fr. Buddy Breaux will officiate. Interment will follow at the church mausoleum where Mallory will be laid to rest alongside her father.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 10:00 am until the service time. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM.
