Mrs. Marcene, affectionately known as “Maw Pete”, was born July 9, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Roland and Margaret Petch Fellhauer. In her younger years, Marcene was an acrobat with Ringling Bros. Circus and traveled to many cities. She was also a homemaker and artist who enjoyed painting (she received several awards for her paintings), and enjoyed crossword puzzles, genealogy and her scratch offs.
She leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Stan Dickens of New Iberia; her children, Ava Dubsky and Karl “Jake” Dubsky and wife Shirley all of Ohio, and James W. Dickens and wife Kathy of New Iberia; her grandchildren, Lily Dickens, Lexi Watts, Ryan Dubsky, Deanna Turner, Jessica Gowitzka, Nick Gowitzka and Krista Dubsky-Bryant; and numerous great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Frederick Dubsky; and her brothers, Jack Fellhauer and Doc Fellhauer.

In keeping with Marcene’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
