My mom just asked me to look him up. He was my God father. I don’t remember him but I feel, but I feel blessed that he was there in the beginning of my life.

My family and I lived on Okinawa when Father Larivierre was  Chaplain at Butler Marine Corps base.  He was a devoted priest to us Catholics, was advisor for our very active Cursillo retreats and We loved him, respected him, trusted and cherished his service as chaplain and priest.  I am so sorry for his passing.  I will continue to pray fir his immortal sole to RIP in the eternal Kingdom of Our God the Lord Jesus Christ.  God have Mercy on his soul.  

Fa. Marshall was best person I ever met. Thank you.

So very sad to hear that "Fr. La" has passed.  He was part of our "family" of dear friends and ministered to us all in so many ways during his sojourn on this planet. I will continue to think of him often and well...for all his kindnesses to me and my family.  God bless and may you rest in peace that passes all understanding.
