Mary Holley Dixon

NEW IBERIA – Memorial Services will be conducted for Mary Holley Dixon, age 72, at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Rev. Matt Woollett will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at the church mausoleum.

Visitation will be held at the church from 12:00 noon until service time.

A native of Darnell, LA and resident of New Iberia for the past 5 years, Mrs. Dixon passed away at 6:40 pm on, July 4, 2015 at Iberia Extended Care.

Mrs. Dixon was a past resident of Hartsville, SC for many years. She was a concert pianist and was the organist for many churches.

She is survived by her son, J. Kelly Russell and wife Amy of New Iberia; one daughter, Kim Berst of Zachary; nine grandchildren, Stephen Russell, Nicholas Russell, Katie Russell, William Russell, Jon McAllister, Henry Berst, Maurice Berst, Miranda Berst and Joshua Berst; her husband, Ed Dixon of Hartsville, SC and one sister, Joy Foster of Ruston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Hazel McDonald Holley.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Episcopal Church of the Epiphany; 303 West Main Street, New Iberia, LA 70560.
