With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mary Jane Geoffroy Rodrigue, 94, who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 27, 2026. A native of Delcambre and resident of New Iberia, Mary was born on September 21, 1931, to the late Whitness and Edia Dubois Geoffroy.
Mary Jane lived a life defined by faith, kindness, devotion, and unwavering love for her family. She enjoyed a highly respected career as an account manager and bookkeeper, dedicating many years of service to several automobile dealerships, including Acadiana Pontiac, Davis Delcambre, McMahon Musson, Frusha Volkswagen, Auto Mart, Heritage Motors, and Ray Gross Motors. Her professionalism, integrity, and warm spirit earned the admiration of colleagues and customers alike. Along the way, she formed countless lasting friendships with everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
A devout Catholic and faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Mary lived her faith through compassion, generosity, and service to others. Her gentle heart and genuine concern for everyone she met left an enduring impression on all whose lives she touched.
Above all else, Mary cherished her family. Her greatest joy was creating a loving home and spending precious time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She delighted in holding each of them in her arms, embracing every opportunity to share her boundless love, wisdom, and affection. Those moments became treasured memories that her family will carry in their hearts forever.
Mary Jane was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her beautiful smile, caring nature, and unwavering love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. Though her presence will be profoundly missed, her legacy of faith, kindness, and unconditional love will live on through her family and the many friends whose lives she enriched.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her six children, Lori R. LeBlanc and husband Richard P. LeBlanc; Guy B. Rodrigue; Hal R. Rodrigue; Jan R. LeBlanc and husband Carl LeBlanc; Patti R.
