

MaryLynn was born on July 2, 1911 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a resident of Pleasant Hill, Ohio and New Port Richey, Florida before moving to New Iberia twelve years ago. She passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at New Iberia Manor North Nursing Home.
Mrs. Klopfer attended Wittenberg University, taught school and was co-owner of Klopfer’s Super Value Market in Pleasant Hill, Ohio. She was a member of Cornerstone Cowboy Church in New Iberia.
She is survived by her son, Paul Allen Klopfer and his wife Cinni of Perry, Florida; daughter, Mary Ann Klopfer Bower and husband Del of Dayton, Ohio; daughter in law, Sharon Klopfer Touchet of New Iberia; seven grandchildren, David, John, Todd, T.J. and Patrick Klopfer, Kim Molitor and Wendy Nealeigh; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Klopfer; son, Daniel L. Klopfer; parents, Benjamin and Ophelia Hartness Wineland and two sisters, Bonnie Sweet and Polly Metsch.
The family would like to thank Connie VanCleve, Staff of New Iberia Manor North especially Nanette Bonin and the Staff of Heart of Hospice especially Allison and Cindy Luquette.
