Patricia Baudoin Rose

December 23, 1958February 20, 2021

Patricia Baudoin Rose, a loving and devoted mother, sister, niece and dear friend, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the young age of 62.

Patrice, as she was known by family and friends, was born December 23, 1958 in Frankfurt, Germany, one of three children to the late Joseph N. Baudoin, Sr. and Helen Valls Baudoin. Patrice was a book keeper and most recently worked with Charter Supply. Outside of her work, she lived a quiet and simple life. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting down with a good book and tuning out the world or enjoying a meal with friends at her favorite restaurant, Paradise Pizza. Jennifer and Edmund also spoke of the great times they had when visiting her sister, Judy, on the west coast in Washington and Oregon. Above all, Patrice's greatest love was her family. Her sweet smile and kind heart will live on with all that knew and loved her. Until we meet again, Rest well.

Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jennifer Mae Rose and fiancé Dillon Judice and her son Edmund C. Rose, IV; her sister, Judy Vaughn and husband Danny of Salem; and host of Aunts, Uncles, and Nieces and Nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Baudoin, Sr. and Helen Valls Baudoin, and her brother, Joseph N. "Joey" Baudoin Jr. who recently passed away in June of 2020.

A memorial Mass celebrating Patrice's life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 26, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Delcambre. Fr. Brian Harrington will be the celebrant. Following the mass, she will be laid to rest with her parents and brother in the church mausoleum.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Friday from 9:00 am until 10:45 am, with the Men's Rosary Group leading the Rosary at 10:00 am.

Judy, Jennifer and Edmund. Becky and I offer our sincerest sympathy to y'all and all of the rest of us who loved Patrice. We will miss her memorable smile that we could always depend on to make us smile. When we were with her the few times we returned to our family reunions on the side of Lake Peigneur, she always displayed her infinite affection to cousins, uncles and aunts. It is there at the family reunions that we were also entertained by her distinct sense of humor. We will sadly miss her.

Jennifer, I was so sorry to hear of your mother's death. It has been a while since she and I spoke, I remember what a devoted mother she was. She always had a big smile for everyone.

May God comfort you and your family - Martha Moore

Patrice was my Aunt and my God Mother. She was my Te taunt. A person that has filled my memories with smiles and laughter.
I have always lived away from where she did but always cherished the times I got to spend with her and my cousins. While, like everyone, I wished to have talked with her one last time and to hear her laugh. Her time here was too short and she will forever be missed.
