Paul Victor Featherston

NEW IBERIA – Funeral services will be celebrated for Paul Victor Featherston, age 63, at 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Evangeline Funeral Home in New Iberia with David Jeffreys, Associate Pastor of Highland Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will take place in Brandsville, MO at a later date.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:00 am until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Featherston passed away on July 3, 2017 in New Iberia.

Born on December 26, 1953 to the late Sidney and Lucy Garber Featherston, Paul was one of three children. He was a devout member of Highland Baptist Church and a man of strong faith. Paul greatly enjoyed watching sporting events, especially when it involved his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the LSU Tigers. Paul was a loving son, brother, and friend and will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his brother, Michael R. Featherston and wife Cathy of The Woodlands, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Lucy Garber Featherston; and brother, Kevin Featherston.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Paul’s name to Highland Baptist Church, 607 Victory Dr., New Iberia, LA 70563.
