

NEW IBERIA – Committal Services will be conducted for Paul Hulin, Jr., age 73, at 3:30 pm Thursday, July 9, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Derouen officiating. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. Members of the VFW Post #1982 will fold and present the flag.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Hulin passed away at 2:45 am on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Iberia Medical Center.
Mr. Hulin was a Veteran of the US Navy serving his country honorably during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hulin was a carpenter for many years and a professional cock fighter before it was deemed illiegal.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cheri Vicknair Hulin of New Iberia; one son, Keith Hulin of Washington, two daughters, Pauletta Hulin of California and Angelique Hulin of New Iberia; two step sons, David Vicknair of Marion, LA and John Vicknair of New Iberia and one step daughter, Cara Vicknair of Marion, LA and one grandson, Anthony Paul Vicknair of New Iberia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Gladys Duhon Hulin, Sr. and one sister, Barbara Guilbeau.
Pallbearers will be David Vicknair, David Schexnayder, Warren Maturin, Carl Maturin, Kirk Guilbeau and Jude Guilbeau.
