Born in Franklin, Louisiana, Paula was the daughter of the late Dolores Guidry LaLumandier and Arthur LaLumandier. She spent her life rooted in the values she cherished most: simplicity, honesty, and the belief that everyone should live freely and on their own terms. Those who knew Paula knew her as a quiet, steady presence—someone who preferred life simple, sweet, and to the point.
Paula dedicated her career to service and education. She worked with the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service and served as a 4-H agent in both St. John Parish and Iberia Parish. She also taught home economics at Morgan City High School, sharing practical skills and life lessons with countless students over the years.
She is survived by her sisters Barbara L. Burke, Wannetta L. Lyda, Jan LaLumandier, and Marie L. Dugal, who will remember her with love and respect.
Paula was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond L. Forster, Jr.; her parents, Arthur and Dolores LaLumandier; her godmother, Mary Louise Guidry Walker; her in-laws, J.P. and Doris Migues Boudreaux; her paternal grandparents, J.B. and Etta H. LaLumandier; her maternal grandparents, Louis and Eunice Patin Guidry; and her nephew, William Burke.
