Flip was a simple, fun-loving man who truly enjoyed life. He loved fishing and crawfishing, often heading out with friends to see what the day would bring. He enjoyed a margarita every now and again and was well known as a true “get up and goer”—always on the move, always ready for the next adventure, and always looking to have a good time. His easygoing spirit and love of living will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Clyde Gonsoulin (Shandi), and his daughter, Brandy McGee (Keith Jr.); his sister, Cynthia Gonsoulin; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Coy, Allison, and McKenze.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy Badeaux Gonsoulin; his father, Norbert Gonsoulin, Sr.; his mother, Lena Leleux Gonsoulin; and numerous siblings.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of the arrangements.
