

WESTLAKE– Memorial Services will be conducted for Mrs. Regenia Rogers Westbrook, age 64, at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Pastor Daniel Kelly will officiate the service. Visitation will be held before the service from 10:00 am until service time.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Westbrook passed away at 6:45 pm on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at her residence.
Most important to Regenia was being a dedicated mother and wife. She was devoted to her family and her special interests. She enjoyed Carnival and worked for years creating the floats and costumes for those events. Mrs. Westbrook was also known as an active dog lover. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Westbrook, Jr.; son, Richard D. Westbrook and wife Beth of Lake Charles; daughter, Christy Westbrook and girlfriend Kera Stelly of Westlake; mother, Christine Rogers of Lafayette; brother, Ronnie Douglas of Liberty, Mississippi; sisters, Linda Rogers Fuller and husband Lonnie of Springtown, Texas, Nancy Lou Rogers of Lafayette; grandchildren, Dylan McNeese, Lauren McNeese and special friend Chris Huckaby.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Rogers; father-in-law, James R. Westbrook, Sr.; mother-in-law, Marion Dixon Westbrook and brother-in-law, Eddie Westbrook.
