Richard Pierre Alleman

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Richard Pierre Alleman, age 81, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with Fr. Mark Derise officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday until the time of services.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Alleman passed away at 11:50 am on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Iberia Extended Care Hospital.

Richard “Dick” Alleman enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was an avid gardener who loved to plant vegetables. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Barbara Wagge Alleman and brother, George Alleman and wife Paulette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Edith Lasalle Alleman.
