Sandra was a sales associate with Godchaux’s and Maison Blanche in the shoe department. She built a large following of customers who looked to her for their needs. Not only did she sell shoes, she was one of her own customers. Sandra loved her shoe collection and never hesitated to add to it with any new styles. Sandra was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and followed them her entire life. Roger Staubach was her all-time favorite. She was also known for her knowledge of history, especially with regards to the Kennedy’s and the Royal Family. Her fascination with them lent to her desire and pastime of reading as much as she could. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to visit many places throughout the United States. Some of most memorable trips were to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Daytona Beach and New York City. Her sweet smile will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Jana Miller, Ryan Jenny and his wife Katrina, and Brent Jenny; her grandchildren, Seth Jenny, Evan Jenny, and Abby Jenny; and her great grandchild whom she wasn’t able to meet, Christian Jenny; and her only sister, Judy Leger.
She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 50 years, William Jenny; and her parents, Thomas Walker and Myrtle Horn Walker.
Memorial services for Sandra will be announced on the Evangeline Funeral Home website at a later date and will also be shared by the family.
