Seth was a remarkable individual who faced numerous challenges throughout his life with an unyielding grace and a positive outlook. He was known for his enduring kindness and his refusal to speak ill of anyone, qualities that endeared him to everyone around him. His infectious enthusiasm and zest for life were most apparent in his passion for sports—he was an avid football fan with a special affection for LSU and the New Orleans Saints.
Seth dedicated over 16 years to working at ARC of Iberia, where his dedication and compassion made a lasting impact. His love for word search puzzles and his impressive spelling skills were a testament to his sharp mind and competitive spirit. Seth's competitive nature also shone brightly during his participation in the Special Olympics, where he earned numerous medals, a reflection of his determination and skill.
Family was at the heart of Seth’s life. He looked forward to the Reed Family Reunions with great anticipation, treasuring the time spent with loved ones. His devotion to his family was matched only by his love for his dogs, Kubota and Kilo, who held a special place in his heart.
Seth was a devoted and cherished member of the Church of Christ. He took great pride in leading the congregation in song and sharing his love for God through his music. His heartfelt prayers and his musical leadership were a testament to his deep spiritual connection and his commitment to serving others.
In addition to his spiritual endeavors, Seth was known for his simple yet endearing joys. Though somewhat of a picky eater, he had an enduring love for rice and gravy and never missed a chance to enjoy chocolate chip cookies. These small pleasures were a reflection of his genuine and unpretentious nature.
