What a pleasure to have known “Aunt” Shirley, like I’ve always called her. So many good times. I’ve just lost my dad , and I try to look at the blessing in it all. He battled Alzheimer’s also. But what a blessing Aunt Shirley was still active til the end. Bowling and having a beer and squeezing every ounce out of life. People still enjoying her company. As hard as it is for the family, that’s a blessing. I’d always find her at any function they’d have at the camp , when she wasn’t flying all over the place paying attention to details , and I’d sit awhile and get some words of wisdom from her. I’ll miss that. Prayers for all the family. And Hopefully COVID will go away so we can all get back together and console each other with our friendship. Love y’all 💕

My fondest memories of Mrs. Shirley "Momma Huff" was when she would share stories of her life in great detail - mainly of her coaching days with her late husband. She loved talking about all the children she was able to influence through sports. I will miss just sitting quietly and listening to her speak and laugh. Most of all...I will miss her "shaking" that index finger when she wanted to reinforce a point‼️ In the few years I have had the privilege of knowing her she has touched my soul. I know you will make your presence known in heaven❤️ Rest In Peace Great Lady Until We All Meet Again For That Grand Party❌⭕️❌⭕️
