On July 4, 2024, amidst the beauty of a radiant day, Stacy T. Pellerin peacefully transitioned from this earthly life into eternal glory, surrounded by her loving family. Stacy was a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved daughter, sister, and friend to many. Her courageous battle against cancer exemplified her strength, culminating in her ultimate victory—entering heavenly peace.
Stacy was born on March 23, 1980, in New Iberia, spending her formative years in Franklin. She graduated from Franklin Senior High, Class of 1998, and pursued her education at ULL before focusing on Massage Therapy at Blue Cliff College. Her career spanned over two decades, specializing in Neuro Muscular Therapy, where she touched countless lives with comfort and relief, treating her patients as cherished friends.
As great of an accomplishment as her career was, she was most proud of her most important role in life, being a wife to the man of her dreams, Brock, and becoming a mother to their beautiful girls, Saige Marie, Addyson Alexis, and Kensie Mae. This dear soul centered her life around her family, nurturing and loving with her entire being. She supported them in all of their activities and even pushed her girls in the best of ways to instill faith, love, respect and kindness to others in their hearts.
As their children moved on to school she remained active in their interests. Although she wasn't too keen to the idea of raising livestock at first, she quickly became her family's biggest fan. She proudly watched over the years as her girls won Showcase after Showcase with champion showmanship and livestock. Their travels took them to other states and brought some memorable trips with many laughs and excitement. Brock proudly spoke of the multitude of trophies and buckles displayed throughout their home, each one providing a memory and story of that special moment.
One of her favorite family outings was spending time on the boat going crabbing at Marsh Island or trolling. Brock shared that he knew what was coming when Stacy said, "looks like its going to be a great day". That meant get the boat ready for a day on the water.
Stacy had other pastimes that kept her grounded and relaxed. She had the "Green thumb" in the family and was able to make anything grow to a beautiful state. Vegetable gardening and plants were her thing, flowers not so much. Brock recalled the first time he gave her flowers and her reaction. She told him not to buy her flowers anymore and to save his money. When he asked her why, she simply said, "Because flowers die. Our love won't". Just as she nurtured the plants around her lovely home, she nurtured the love for her family, pouring her soul and heart as it grew into the beautiful family it is now.
Of course, none of this could have been without Stacy’s strong faith and love for her Lord and Savior. Saige recalled a mission trip with her school to El Salvador where Stacy accompanied her. During that trip, Stacy and Saige were baptized. From that moment on, her faith only grew exponentially. She later renewed her commitment with Brock, exemplifying a life devoted to Christ and serving others without judgment.
Stacy will be dearly missed by all whose lives have been touched by her. We rejoice in knowing that she is not gone from us, only gone on before us, and we know that the promise of eternal life gives us hope and we will one day be reunited with her in the Kingdom of God. Until that most precious day, may she rest in peace. We love you.
