Tanya was a beloved mother, devoted wife, cherished sister, and treasured friend.
Tanya's professional life was marked by her dedicated work as a medical coder at Iberia Medical Center, where she made a significant impact over several years. Outside of her career, Tanya’s passions shone brightly. She was a devoted animal lover, who found joy and companionship in her three cats, three dogs, and three guinea pigs.
Her enthusiasm for life extended to her personal interests, including a love for horror and sci-fi movies, wrestling, and playing video games. Tanya also embraced her entrepreneurial spirit through her roles as a Tupperware representative and a Scentsy consultant, where she built connections and shared her zest for life.
Tanya's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
Tanya is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Michael “Mike” Castille, Jr. and her father Abbie Trosclair, Jr. and his wife Vivian, and a host of friends and family who will remember her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to their lives.
Along with her mother she is preceded in death by her beloved son, Wayne Castille, one brother, Wayne Trosclair; maternal grandparents, Alvin Theriot and Armina Romero Theriot and her paternal grandparents, Abbie Trosclair, Sr. and Mary Helen Romero Trosclair.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Evangeline Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Men’s Rosary Group will pray the rosary at 6:00 pm.
Tanya will be laid to rest privately at a later date.
