A gathering of family and friends will be held at Evangeline Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Tina was born to the late Wildon and Eunice LeBlanc Landry on October 21, 1957 in Erath, Louisiana and was the only girl of five children. On Saturday January 12, 2019, Tina went to be with her Lord and Savior passing away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 61.
Tina worked different jobs during her years, one being with Fremin’s Food and Furniture, but she was most proud of being a homemaker to her family. She lived a selfless lifestyle, always putting others before herself. Some of her pastimes included playing games on her tablet and gossiping and socializing with friends. Tina was the type of person to befriend anyone she met and loved sharing her kindness with strangers. If you didn’t know her before, she made sure you were a friend after meeting her. Above all, she was most proud of her children and grandchildren and adored the time spent with them. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Errol Paul Legnon; her children, Brent Legnon and wife Mary, Jonica Romero and husband Chase and Melanie Legnon; six grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Chloe Lancon, Olivia Legnon, Scarlet and Sydni Romero, Trinity Legnon and Mckinley Dorsey; and her brothers, Timothy “Timmy” Landry (her twin) and Jimmy Landry.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ricky and Rudy Landry.
