In this time of sorrow, I come to you to express my deepest sentiments for your loss. Did mom, grandma or great grandma know this person, you might ask? No, she did not, but as a person that believes in what Jesus Christ thought us, I like to extend my sympathy to each and every one losing a loved one to death. I like to encourage everyone to remember the promise given to us in the Bible that says: " and I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." - Acts 24:15; Jesus also reminds us in John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercise faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life." Believe and have faith that you will see your loved Ms. Vernet again in the resurrection. In the meantime, please know that the true God sees your pain. Warmest sentiments to you and your family.

Vernet and Valery were such good friends of my parents: I believe Lambert was my dad's godchild? Both your parents were reminders of a generation of decency and honor I still look up to. I'd also like to add that I thought Vernet was one of the best looking women in New Iberia: she was beautiful inside and out. My sincere sympathies to all of you.
