Wayne Michael Roy Castille, cherished son, and a beacon of kindness, departed from this world on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was born on January 13, 2004, in Lafayette to Michael Roy Castille, Jr. and Tanya Lynn Trosclair Castille and grew up in New Iberia. Wayne graduated from Highland Baptist Christian School in 2022, and briefly played football for the Bears.
Wayne possessed an innate kindness that he generously bestowed upon others, especially towards his ailing mother, whom he devoted much of his time to caring for. A computer whiz, Wayne had a remarkable talent for constructing computer systems from scratch, igniting his passion for gaming and Anime. He found solace and joy in the company of animals, proudly expanding his family with three beloved guinea pigs, alongside his three dogs and three cats.
In the serene corners of our hearts, Wayne’s spirit will continue to shine brightly, illuminating the memories we hold dear of a remarkable young man whose kindness knew no bounds. May he rest in eternal peace.
In his passing, Wayne rejoins eternally with his grandmothers Janet Theriot Trosclair and Debra Deville Hall, his uncle Wayne Trosclair, and great-grandparents Alvin Theriot, Armina Romero Theriot, and Norma Deville.
Wayne is survived by his loving parents, Michael Roy Castille, Jr. and Tanya Trosclair Castille, his grandfather’s, Abbie Trosclair, Jr. and Michael Roy Castille, Sr., his uncles Joe Castille (Lexi), Brandon Hall (Tiffany), Daniel Castille, and Timothy Castille, his great-uncle Kevin Theriot, Sr. (Dianna), and his cousins, Kevin Theriot, Jr., (Nikki), Shannon Theriot, Cole Theriot, Jordan Alleman, Kennedi Theriot, Kate Theriot, Tyson Rivet, Nikolas Castille, Nathan Castille, Jacob Castille, Brittney Castille, Brianna Castille and Jessie Castille.
